Ginger

Ginger taste delicious in many dishes, but my love for ginger is due to its amazing skin & hair benefits. Rich in antioxidants, ginger has anti-aging properties, preserving collagen. It soothes irritation, inflammation & repairs skin damage. Ginger repairs tissue at the cellular level, promoting rapid healing to cuts & abrasions. It also reduces scars & cellulite by counteracting the impact of free radicals.

Ginger toner

- Mix together 3 drops of ginger essential oil (we prefer doterra) with 1 teaspoon of vitamin e oil & 1 tablespoon of witch hazel. Add to a small glass spray bottle & fill remaining bottle with distilled water. Keep chilled & shake before use. Spray on skin after cleansing daily

Ginger acne paste

- Mix 1 tablespoon ground ginger with 1 tablespoon hemp oil & mix into a paste. Cleanse skin with soap & water & apply paste to acne breakout. Leave paste on overnight & wash skin in the morning. Use daily until skin clears up

Ginger lemon honey scrub

- Mix 1 tablespoon of ground ginger with 1 tablespoon of honey & 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply to skin using a circular motion. Allow to sit 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water

Ginger encourages blood circulation which stimulates hair growth. Ginger promotes healthy hair & scalp & treats dandruff.

Ginger scalp treatment

Mix 5 tablespoons of ground ginger with 5 tablespoons of hemp oil & massage into scalp. Leave on scalp at least 30 minutes. This treatment can be left on overnight, just cover hair with a plastic cap. Shampoo your hair as usual. Ginger scalp treatments can be done monthly to promote healthy scalp & hair
