Cinnamon bark

Cinnamon bark has improved wellness for centuries. Potent & potentially toxic if taken in excess, cinnamon is as equally as potent & powerful in regards to healing if used with proper knowledge & education.


Known for protection, luck, love & prosperity, cinnamon can be used by placing bundles of sticks above your doors to shield your home from any negative energies. Cinnamon bark can also replace sage in smudging your home.


Cinnamon bark is loaded with antioxidant, antibacterial, & antifungal properties. It is ideal for skin & hair. It is also an effective remedy for pain management. Cinnamon lowers inflammation & reduces muscle soreness. Cinnamon bark essential oil (we prefer Doterra) diluted with a carrier oil such as hemp oil or coconut oil can soothe achy joints. Cinnamon oil is a hot oil & must be diluted. It is very, very potent & a tiny bit goes a very long way. The oil contains immune boosting compounds that flush free radicals from the body. Remedies are commonly used to comfort strep throat & pneumonia. Applying 1 drop to hot water or hot tea, is a preferred method by many.


Digesting cinnamon daily, even a pinch in your tea with honey is known to improve skin. Cinnamon treats acne, rosacea & reduces redness due to sun exposure. Cinnamon also increases blood circulation which promotes shiny, stronger hair.


Cinnamon works with the lower chakras to encourage self confidence & self acceptance. It clears trapped emotions from past traumas. It balances the sense of safety & security. Cinnamon is used to increase awareness. Improving brain function, cinnamon protects neurons from oxidative stress to decrease inflammation & cellular damage. Cinnamon reduces the risk of Alzheimer's & Parkinson's diseases.


Here's some ways to enjoy the benefits of cinnamon. Just remember it is strong & needs to be utilized cautiously & mindfully.


Cinnamon foot soak

- Fill a large bowl or basin with comfortably warm water. Add 1/3 cup of Epsom salt & 1 drop of cinnamon bark oil & 3 drops of rosemary oil. Soak feet for approximately 20 minutes.


Cinnamon smudge spray

- Place cinnamon sticks, rosemary, clove & sage into a pot of boiling water. Boil approximately 15 minutes. Strain into a glass spray bottle once water cools. Spray around your home to cleanse & purify.

1 drop tea tree oil

2 drops rosemary oil
